Chauvinism originally means excessive、unreasonable or extreme patriotism. Today, when mention about Chauvinism we usually regard as Male-Chauvinism which means men should always be better and more powerful than women. As we know, women have been treated unfairly no matter in the West or the East. Because of native difference, it is so hard to judge the edge of equalization that people still have been aspiring for equality.

Male-Chauvinism is just like a monster’s shadow which has been following behind women for more than five thousand years. Besides abridge women in houses and constrain their talent, most women had to stand the abuse of their spirit. What’s more, according to Marxist each family is a social factory because it produced power of labors. It had been a long time that perpetuation of the existing stratification system and sex stereotype had crucify women.

In 18 century, industrial revolution had brought a huge transition. Even women had to go to factory and worked as low-cost labors. As well as nursery school had become more and more popular, woman had realized their importance and they started to ask for the sexual equality.

Nowadays, feminist has raised; Sex-role revolution so far seems successful. However, we haven’t acquired the true equality. In Taiwan, not only most young women refuse to sacrifice themselves as a slave, but also men can’t accept this kind of thought so they’d rather to marriage a foreign bride without love basis. Those problems produce more other problems, such as education and act of discrimination. It proved that people are still live under Chauvinism.

Chauvinism is still widely discussed to day and the revolution seems never ending in human being’s history. Here comes the problem again—why history instead of herstory? In fact, we can’t compose human being’s miracle without each single sex. How to respect and use oppositely characteristics well is a big lesson all we have to study.

Teachers Just Don't Understand

Ronnie was not only a student but also a wife and a mother as Mrs. Johnson. Her daughter was sick so terribly that she worried a lot. Her husband had to work in the middle night in the cold wintertime. In the second morning, they discussed about their difficulties including her baby’s next surgery, her husband’s instable job and his health. She really worried about these things and even cried but her husband told her” Everything will be OK”.

In school, Ronnie had been called by the teacher. She had been blamed loudly because she didn’t do homework. She said that there were too many things annoyed her last night so she couldn’t do it but her reason was regarded as an excuse. While she was asked to do go to the vice-principal out of the classroom, she met Frank and told him” Boy, these teachers sure don't understand. ”

Boy, it must be a real story which may take place everyday around our society. It seems that life is always a struggle. While facing our life, we really need courage to face it and grow up. People always blame others as if they can do better. In fact, we are not in the conditions so we can only see part of the whole than people may jump into conclusion and complain. People usually can’t tolerate other’s fault but themselves’. Not only the teachers but also everybody including myself, as long as you are human beings you may make the same tragedy such as the story.

Stressed out

As a usual mother, in the story, Joan had to wake up in the middle night in order to feed her baby and prepare the breakfast for the whole family in the early morning. She still had to go to work. What’s worse, she was blamed by the boss. This afternoon, her car bumped into another one. When she counted her bill, she really stressed out.

As if she couldn’t stand anymore. There were too much things upset her. She wanted to relax or run away from the stress but it seems impossible.

Today, many people lead a busy life such as hers. How to overcome our stress is an important point to our modern life. Of course, under stress is not always a bad thing. How to handle stress well is all we have to learn.

Princess Smartypants

Princess Smartypants was a pretty and rich princess so many princes wanted to marry her but she didn’t want to get married because she wanted to live with her pets.

Her parents asked her to marry a prince instead of staying with her pet. She set many difficulties to scare away the princes so that the Queen and the King couldn’t blame her. But Princes Swash buckle did whole she asked him to do. It upset Princess Smartypants. She gave him a kiss and turned a gigantic warty toad. After seeing this situation, no one dare to marry her any more.

Is own a strong personality a bad thing? What is worthy to insist on is all we have to consider clearly. To Princess Smartypants, maybe we may though it was unreasonable, but she though it’s her best choice and nothing can replace. If she can’t feel better from a marriage, why we insist so much?

Today, products that made in Taiwan have touched human's being daily life everywhere around the world. Bill Gates was impressed much by the innovative work in Taiwan. Because of its unyielding commitment to innovation, in many fields, Taiwan has become the world's number one, including LCD, PC cameras, and DVD discs, 90% of the globe's wireless lans are made in Taiwan. What is more, bicycle manufacturers in Taiwan had won 3 medals from. There are many global brands, such as Asus, Acer, BenQ…etc. In 2004, the world economic forum announced that Taiwan is the fourth most growth competitive nation. Researches and developments (R&D) are the life blood of innovation. With 90 R&D centers, Taiwan has become the leader in technological produce.

Happy hours

The two boys were carrying bags and trying to stand like a model. It’s so funny that even the strangers laughed. The picture was made in my summer vacation when I took a trip with my friends. During this traveling, the voice of laughter seems never ends and we really had a good time.

At first, the boys were so sweet that they asked girls that whether they can help to carrying the bags for lades. After few minutes later, they began made fun by exchanging opinions about how to make their posture cool. They stood like a model who works for home shopping and asked us to making picture for them. They even burlesque models’ walking method and facial expression. Those actions made all of us laughed and impressed a lot.

The two boys are older student in my school. In fact, we met in a school’s club which is studying traditional Chinese medical science. Besides studying, we also have many activities in order to make our friendship much stronger. This picture was made in flying-cow farm where is located in the mid-Taiwan and being famous for its beautiful and nature surrounding. It’s my first time to traveling with my club members over night after entering into university. It’s really an interesting experience.

While traveling, to me, the most important is always keeps a good mood. It’s anything can’t replace. My club members really gave many happy hours. I’m appreciated very much that I can know them and becoming friend with them. Thanks to them. Thanks to all my club members. They are so lovely. Because of them, I dare to say that my collage live is colorful.

Pictures can not only record many things but also remind many things. I’d like to record my life though pictures as my treasure memory forever. In the future, also, I will keep collect and create more memory. No matter it is acid or sweet, it completes me.

Mid term

In my opinion, the quality of the person’s previous work would be the priority one. The previous work shows one’s ability and personal quality. Compared with education and experience, ability and personality are the more important key points to identify whether a person suits this work and whether he or she is the one whom we are looking for. Besides, though previous work, we may get some information about education and experience. That’s why I chose it as the best standard.

The quality of the previous work tells many things, including personal attitude、working background、personal style、personality and working ability. If they have prepared presentations, than it would be much easier to compare with each other--did the candidate handle each detail very carefully? Are there page’s number? Is the make-up clear? You can ensure their attitude by the previous work information. What is more, you may find the answer about why they want to change jobs and hat are their aspirations after entering our company. The most important points are their personality and working ability. The best work each one has down, find their advantages and disadvantages than we would not lost the excellence one. After so completely calculation, I believe that though this method we can find a fittingly man.

Education doesn’t mean ability; experience doesn’t mean attitude, neither. Some people can do well on test, but they can’t teach very well; so does their work. If people’s education is pretty high, and they might regard this work as a part-time job because they think they can earn much. A student graduated from training school or college might own better skills than from university. A freshman won’t be worse than an old hand. Usually they are always fall of energy and ambition. Sometimes they can even bring energy to an old company as long as you give them chances. A person who had been worked once or even more is great but it doesn’t mean they really suit it. Maybe they leave last company because some other problem, who knows?

While looking previous work, we can also guess their experience and education stage. Than, why not chose this selection? In another word, what we want to know can both gain though the quality of the person’s previous work. It’s is beyond dispute that we should put stock in.

Human being’s history have told us that IQ is not only the factor to decide if you can be succeed or not but EQ. Today, a wise leader won’t only look at ability and, instead, he will consider the other factors from many aspects. As we know, each one has their advantages and disadvantages, sometimes advantages may turn into disadvantages. Knowing what kind of people we need is above all.

Computer has been changed human being’s history. Especially the abilities of personal computers and internet had carrying us to a whole new century. It is obvious that in the future it will keep effect us. No matter in the past nor in the future, its affection is much far away than we may imagine.

Computer is one of the greatest inventions around the world. It has been bringing the businessman much convenient--helping a company records each data; analyzing the information; counting the cost and the beneficially gain; making beautiful and impressed picture to do a commercial advertisement; designing the products…etc. Another example is education, computers has been providing another new method to teach and learn; creating a new area to expand knowledge. There are so much advantages that we can not count. In fact almost every kind of works need computer to handling items. It has played a very important role in our society in the present age.

Besides the usage of working, in Taiwan almost every teenager has a personal computer. And the internet is another space that people created. When they link together, it’s really a super nice collocation. There are many functions—downloading songs and movies to play and enjoy, sending e-mails, chatting by the messenger, skim internet and find most information we want. Nowadays, we may even see the image though the video digitizer and talk on Skype system which is completely for free. Today, the research about advancing immixture other machine’s capability and innovative ideas is still going on. So what kind of changes does computer might become in the future?

In2003, there was a magazine reported that a fashion show which was designed for 30 years later. And every model was wearing different kind of machines which was linked with glasses or watch. Usually, the computer host is put on your arm, and there was a pair of or just single glass as screen. The costume is suit on each special mini computer. It is pretty interesting to imagine what shell we change as well as the computer varies. Maybe it might come true, and everybody shall enjoy the new trade after 30 years, who knows!

Computers are already closed linked with our usual lives. It seems that people almost can’t live without computer, but there are always something that computer can not replace. Remember, we are the user, never being controlled by the computers. As long as we use it well, whether on our history and the computers’ we can proudly write down “win-win” and celebrate it.

The Most Important Room in a House

When mention about the most important room in a house, in my opinion, must be the living room. There are three reasons—First, The guests usually impressed by the living room the most. The Second point, it’s the space that everybody may get together doing anything. Third, it’s the place which can make a house become home.

As we know, while entering a person’s house, the first sight usually is the living. And we usually treat our guest there. If people don’t like to stay there for a long time, than how can we have a good time with our friends? If a living makes people feel comfortable; everyone likes to stay there to relax; and spend time together, it’s obvious that the family members must get well with each other.

Another point to prove the importance of living room, people may get together and enjoy the happy moments in a living room—watching TV and discussing the program, sharing our living with family members, or just taking a nap on the sofa. I really enjoy staying in the living room when everybody doing nothing but chatting in the living room.

Living room is usually the center of our house, its atmosphere controls the whole feeling of a house. Of course, each room in a house plays an important role, nice rooms make our quality of life better. But when mention about the leading actor, it must be the living room. That’s why it is the key point to turn a house become home; that’s why I think it is the most important room in a house.

I like to stay in the living room, especially stay with my family members, to lie down in the sofa is really cheerful. To me, it is the index that make a cold building warm.
